Who pays for this course
Nobody pays to read it, and nobody pays us to publish any particular sentence in it. The site earns money in one way: affiliate commission on sign-ups made through the paid links in the course.
East European Media Service s.r.o. has joined an affiliate programme for Star Stable Online, an online horse-riding game, run through the affiliate network that operates the link. If you follow that link and create an account at the other end, the network records that the referral came from us and pays us a commission.
You pay nothing extra for this. The price on the vendor's side is the same whether you arrive through our link, type the address yourself, or never visit at all. There is no code to enter and no discount attached, because we have not been given one and would say so if we had.
Where the paid links appear
Four appear in the course itself, and a fifth is shown further down this page as an example. They are the only paid links on the site:
- On the homepage, in the section explaining where the product appears in the course.
- In Step 2, where the step sends you to the vendor's own pages for system requirements.
- In Step 3, where it sends you to the vendor's own description of its charges.
- In Step 5, at the end of the course.
Each carries a line beside it saying it is a paid link, opens in a new tab, and is marked for search engines as sponsored. None is disguised as a recommendation in the middle of a sentence.
The link goes directly to the address the network gave us. We do not route clicks through a redirect of our own, do not rewrite the destination with a script, and do not hide where it leads: hover over one and your browser's status bar shows the address it will open.

What the commission decides, and what it does not
It decides which product is named. Star Stable Online appears in this course because there is a commercial relationship behind it, not because a comparison of the category put it first. We have not tested it against anything, and the course contains no scores, no rankings and no claim that it is the best of anything.
It does not decide what the steps say. The checklists would read the same without it: set a monthly figure before you see a price, find the cancellation method before you pay, look the title up with the Australian Classification Board, keep the account on an adult's email, review the charge every month, and cancel when the game stops being played. Several of those are habits that reduce what anyone spends, including what is spent through our link.
It also does not decide what we say about the product. Facts about Star Stable Online in this course come only from what the vendor and the programme publish — that an account can be created and the game started at no cost, and that purchases can be made inside it. Where the vendor states nothing, including prices in Australian dollars, the course says the vendor does not state it.
What does decide the content is the method set out on our About page: the order the questions arrive in a household, government sources for anything about Australian rules, and general guidance for anything about the category.
You can complete the course without following any paid link and without spending anything. If you would rather not use ours, type the vendor's name into a search engine or into your app store instead — the course works exactly the same way, and we would rather you finished it than clicked anything.

This site is not an official site, a partner, a reseller or an authorised source for any product. It uses no vendor's logo, wordmark, screenshots or brand colours, and the setup instructions in the course describe the category in general rather than walking through any one product's screens.
