Who these terms are between

They are between you, as a reader of palematrix.online, and East European Media Service s.r.o., U valu 862/2, Ruzyně, 161 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic, company registration 04389174, which publishes the site. Reading the course means accepting them. There is nothing to sign and no account to create.

What the course is

It is written information for beginners about joining an online game. It is general in nature, it is not tailored to your household, and it is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, financial, technical or security advice. If a decision matters enough to need advice, ask someone qualified to give it for your circumstances.

It is also not accredited training. There is no registration, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification, and nothing on this site should be presented to anyone as evidence of training.

Accuracy and change

The course is written carefully and reviewed twice a year, and statements about Australian rules link to the authority responsible for them so you can check the current position at the source.

Product details change without notice. Prices, charging models, system requirements, age requirements, available settings and classifications are all set by other organisations and can be different the day after we check them. Before you rely on any detail about a product, confirm it on that vendor's own site. Where a vendor has not published something, the course says so rather than estimating it.

Other websites

The course links to government bodies, to vendors and, through paid affiliate links, to a commercial product. Those sites are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, their terms or their handling of your information, and a link is not a statement that we have checked everything on the other end of it. Using the material

You may read the course, print the checklists and use them in your own household, workplace or classroom. You may not republish the text as your own or present the site as belonging to, or endorsed by, anyone else. The site is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will always be available or free of error.

That limit goes no further than the law permits. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that applies to you. Where a non-excludable guarantee applies and the law permits us to limit our liability for breaching it, our liability is limited to supplying the information again.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, where the publisher is established, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction over any dispute.

That choice does not displace any consumer protection you have under Australian law, or under the law of your own country of residence, where that protection cannot be contracted out of. If you are in Australia, the ACCC publishes guidance on consumer rights and on how to complain about a business.
